Advice Surgeries in East Ham
What the old constituency advice surgeries were, and how to reach an MP today.
From the archive. Between 1998 and 2003 this domain carried the constituency website of the Member of Parliament for East Ham. This page keeps one of its items as a historical record, with the original date restored. East Ham Ledger, which publishes the site today, is an independent magazine and has no link to any MP, party or Parliament; contact details and the names of private individuals have been removed, and lost pictures have been replaced with credited photographs of the places concerned.

This page once listed the advice surgeries held by the MP for East Ham in the early 2000s, at venues across the constituency such as East Ham Town Hall, the Beckton Globe and community centres in Manor Park and North Woolwich, with an appointments system run from the MP’s office.
The times, places and telephone number on the original page are more than twenty years old and are no longer valid, so they have been removed. Constituency surgeries still work in much the same way: a resident brings a problem with a government department, immigration, benefits or housing, and the MP’s caseworkers take it up.
